Shreveport, LA — A Keithville man is in jail after he allegedly stabbed another man in Shreveport's Cedar Grove neighborhood.

Police arrested Kerwyn Price, 45, for allegedly stabbing 44-year-old Tommy Hughes on June 29 in the 500 block of East 71st Street.

Investigators believe the crime stemmed from a fight over a women with who they have both been romantically involved. Hughes was stabbed several times in the torso and was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Price was booked into the Shreveport City Jail on one count of attempted second degree murder. His bond has been set at $100,000.
