East Texas native and Aggie defensive linemen, Isaiah Demarcus Golden, has been arrested after being found in possession of marijuana.

According to Bryan Police, on Saturday, an officer was on patrol in the 3600 block of Wellborn Road in Bryan, Texas when he came across the Reveille Ranch Apartment Complex.

While walking through the complex, the officer came near a building and heard a man yelling on the other side of the building.

When authorities got closer, they found a silver two-door Infinity sports car with its lights on.

The officer made contact with the four men in the vehicle and reported that he smelled a strong odor.

Other officers arrived on scene, and identified Isaiah Golden as the driver of the vehicle.

Golden stepped out of the car and officers found a small Swisher Sweet package on the ground just outside the driver's door.

The package appeared to have something inside, but was sealed closed.

When authorities opened the package and found hydroponic marijuana.

Golden admitted ownership to the marijuana, he was handcuffed and searched and then taken to jail.

Golden has been charged with possession of marijuana. He is currently being held in Brazos County Jail under a $2,000 bond.

Golden started in six of 11 games as a true freshman for the Aggies in 2013. He recorded 30 stops on the year, including eight solo tackles and three for a loss of six yards. He had a season-high six stops versus Auburn.

At Carthage High School, Golden was named a U.S. Army All-American and the four-star recruit chose Texas A&M over Baylor, Ole Miss, Oklahoma and Texas Christian University.
