Highway 527, La — Over the weekend, a Doyline woman was killed in a one-vehicle crash on Highway 527.

Shortly after 9:30 a.m., Louisiana state troopers were dispatched to a wreck about one mile east of US Highway 71 on Highway 527.

Investigators believe Linda Klemm, 67, of Doyline, was driving a truck west on Highway 527 when her vehicle left the roadway, crossed a ditch, ran through a field and stopped in a field. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

A toxicology sample was obtained from Klemm and will be submitted for analysis.

The cause of the wreck is unknown at this time.
