Three Caddo Parish teenagers were arrested Tuesday for property damage in the Ellerbe Road area.

According to the Caddo Sheriff's Department, on March 10, several families woke up to find their homes and property had been vandalized. There were reports made of broken yard lights, light poles knocked over, flower pots smashed, wooden chairs broken and flags removed from the homes.

The damage, which occurred in the 10,000 block of Stonehedge Drive and 9500 block of Hampstead Circle,  totaled over $2,000. The alleged vandals were also accused of trespassing in the 300 block of Ellerbe Creek Circle.

One man said he saw three male teenagers riding a golf cart in the area between 3:30 and 5 a.m. After the suspects damaged his home, the victim followed them in his truck but they refused to stop.

Caddo Sheriff's Detective Donnie Laney explored the area and gathered information on the identities of the suspects. All three vandals were taken to the south substation Tuesday and were arrested for felony simple property damage, two counts of misdemeanor simple property damage and criminal trespassing. They were later released to their parents.
