Keithville, LA — Emergency crews were called to a large house fire Wednesday morning in southern Caddo Parish.

The blaze broke out shortly after 6 p.m. on Barron Road in Keithville.

Six people were inside the home when the fire began, but all were able to escape without injury. Authorities tell KMSS several victims had to climb through the window to get out safely.

Caddo Fire Department officials believe the fire was sparked somewhere near the kitchen, but the cause has not yet been determined.
