BPCC opening new Hispanic resource center
Bossier City, La (KMSS) — The Bossier Parish Community College announced a new partnership this morning with the League of United Latin American Citizens. The college plans to open a new Hispanic resource center soon.
Chancellor Jim Henderson says this will not only benefit the college students, but the local community as well.
"We want our student body to reflect the community that we serve. It’s diverse on a demographic basis, it’s diverse on a economic basis, it’s diverse on academic preparedness.
The center will be created and located in the college's transition programs building on Monroe Street.
