A man is behind bars in Bowie County for allegedly transporting a large amount of pseudoephedrine pills.

Authorities arrested Jeremiah Laray Cooper, 39, for possession, or transport certain chemicals with intent to manufacture a controlled substance.

On Monday, Bowie County deputies responded to reports of a reckless driver on I-30 East. A deputy spotted the vehicle driving erratically and pulled the truck over.

An open container of beer was inside the pickup. With the help of a drug sniffing dog, a search revealed two plastic bags containing 3,706 pseudoephedrine pills.

Cooper was arrested and is currently in the Bowie County Jail. His bond is set at $50,000.

I think people should take some pride in their appearance. Just like most place don't allow you to enter bare footed or without a shirt on, I think they shouldn't allow pajama pants. I mean what if you caught them on something and they fall off you or worse get ripped and you expose yourself to a child. Seriously, it could happen. Just take an extra 5 mins and put on real pants. People are way too lazy these days.
