Bossier narcotics team arrests 4 on drug charges

On Thursday, narcotics agents with the Bossier Sheriff’s Office and Bossier City Police Department arrested four people in two separate narcotics cases in Bossier City.

Agents with the Bossier Combined Narcotics Task Force conducted a narcotics investigation, Thursday afternoon, at the home of Bridget L. Mears, 24, of the 1700 block of Southview Drive, in Bossier City, and her boyfriend, Christopher W. Holman, 33, of the 2000 block of Ice Cream Street, in Shreveport.  

Agents found 52 grams of marijuana and a digital scale inside the residence and arrested Mears and Holman for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Mears was also arrested on a Bossier Sheriff’s Office warrant on six counts of distribution of marijuana, while Holman was additionally charged with resisting an officer and for giving a false name to the agents as well as on a fugitive warrant with the Bossier City Police Department. 

On a separate narcotics investigation at a Bossier City hotel Thursday afternoon, agents arrested Christine L. Connors, 28, of Williston, North Dakota, and Drew P. Neiertz, 27, of Overland Park, Kansas., when they found loose marijuana and several smoking devices in their room. 

Agents also found marijuana and a .45 caliber pistol in their vehicle. 

Both admitted to smoking the marijuana and Neiertz admitted the handgun was his. 

They were both charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia and Neiertz was additionally charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance with a firearm.

All four were taken to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility for booking.
