Bossier man arrested after meth lab bust

A local man is behind bars after officials say he was running a meth lab out a home in a Bossier City subdivision.

According to the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office, Craig Grimsley, 31, has been charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute, firearm and dangerous drug possession and for having drug paraphernalia.

The home, located in the 3200 block of Grand Lake Road, is being searched by authorities wearing hazmat suits and gas masks.

A patrol officer saw a vehicle at the clubhouse in the north Bossier housing edition around 1:00 a.m., Friday morning and after further investigation, with probable cause, he searched the car belonging to Grimsley and reportedly found drug paraphernalia. Officials then found a meth lab in the garage of Grimsley's home. 

According to Lt. Bill Davis, a woman who is seven months pregnant and a three-year-old child also live at the home.
