Bossier City Police investigate apartment complex shooting

UPDATE: The man detectives were questioning in regard to Sunday’s shooting in the parking lot of the Cloverdale apartments has been arrested and charged in the case. Dangelo Darnell Hill, 28, of Bossier City was arrested and booked in the Bossier City Jail on a charge of aggravated second degree battery. Hill was arrested for allegedly shooting George Dondray Heard, 31, of Bossier City in the thigh during an altercation. Heard’s wound is consider not to be life-threatening.

The Bossier City Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred Sunday night in the parking lot of a local apartment complex.
 Bossier City police and fire personnel responded to a reported shooting just before 6 p.m. at the Cloverdale Apartments in the 2200 block of Shed Road. That’s where they located a 31-year old man in the parking lot with a gunshot to his thigh. The Bossier City Fire Department took the man to LSU Hospital in Shreveport. His wound is not believed to be life threatening.
 Detectives are questioning another man in connection with the incident and are still investigating the circumstances that lead to the shooting. No charges have been filed at this time.
