The Waco Police Department is investigating a body that was found Wednesday morning at a city early voting location.

Authorities say the man is in his 50s, but have not released his name, pending notification next of kin. He was found in the City of Waco's Multi-purpose Facility, located on 1020 Elm Suite #800.

At 6:57 a.m., police were dispatched to the scene after receiving reports of a man down in the building's restroom.

Investigators have determined the man entered the building shortly before the business closed at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, but never came out of the bathroom. He was found the next morning by employees.

At this time, officials are not sure why the man was at the location. No foul play is suspected, but the death has been listed as questionable. His body has been sent to Dallas for autopsy.
