Baton Rouge woman arrested for hitting two teens with car
BATON ROUGE, LA — A Baton Rouge woman is in jail today because she's accused of hitting two people with her car.
Tameka Monique Oconner, 20, is facing Aggravated Battery and cruelty to juvenile charges. That's because Baton Rouge Police Officers say she hit two juveniles with her car on May 21, 2012. It happened on Lorraine Street.
One of the victims was in her car, but got out when they got into an argument. The victims say Oconner circled the block and hit them both from behind as they walked.
Oconner was arrested by Baton Rouge Police on Tuesday, June 3.
