Shreveport, LA (KMSS) — Sarah Sutton was driving with her infant son Layton, Sunday evening, when a semi crossed over the center line hitting them head-on.

The accident occurred on Buncombe Road, just past Blue Ridge Drive, in West Shreveport, causing power outages for several hours.

The accident was so bad, that while bother Sutton and her son were buckled up properly, both suffered major injuries.

Sutton and her 6 week old son were taken to LSU Medical Center, where is is in fair condition and Layton is still in critical condition.
