Shreveport Police detectives need your help in locating a teenage girl who has apparently run away from home.

On June 2, 2012, Shreveport Police patrol officers were dispatched to a home in the 100 block of Lister Street relative to a runaway teenager. Upon arrival, officers contacted the child’s father who advised them his 16 year old daughter, Toryana Turner, ran away from their home and has not been seen or heard from since.

Toryana is described as a light-complexioned black female with black hair and brown eyes, about five feet six inches tall and weighing approximately 125 pounds. She was last seen near Coty Street in Shreveport's Highland neighborhood wearing olive green pants and a greenish-brown shirt. At this point in their investigation, detectives do not believe she has been the victim of any foul play but they are, however, concerned for her well-being and want to get her back home safely. Anyone who has any information regarding Toryana or her whereabouts is urged to call Shreveport Police detectives at 318-673-7020 or Shreveport-Caddo Parish Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373.
