Authorities looking for alleged Shreveport bandit

Shreveport police are looking for a man who is accused of robbing a local convenience store last week.

Acting on a tip received through Shreveport-Caddo Crime Stoppers, investigators were successful in identifying Robert Sikes, 41, of Shreveport, as a suspect in a robbery of a Circle K convenience store in the 2100 block of Bert Kouns Industrial Loop back on September 21.

On Thursday, detectives secured a warrant for Sikes of Shreveport, charging him with robbery. His bond amount is set at $200,000.

Sikes is described as a white male and about 5' 9". At the time of the robbery, Sikes was seen by witnesses wearing a blue long sleeve shirt, khaki pants and a tan hat. It is believed that Sikes may be traveling in a white four door Jeep Grand Cherokee.
