Authorities asking for public's help locating missing man

The Shreveport Police Department has asked for the public's help in finding a Shreveport man who allegedly walked away from University Health Medical Center last week.

On Thursday, August 21, 2014, detectives launched an investigation into a missing persons report filed by family members of Bert Morris. Authorities learned Morris, 55, whom had reportedly walked away from University Health Medical Center last week.

Family members said Morris was last seen wearing a brown shirt and pants with no other clothing description available. Morris stands 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 180 pounds. He also has brown eyes and black hair.

While authorities were not made aware of any existing medical concerns, there is a growing concern for Morris’ welfare.
