Armed robbery of hotel, police looking for leads

The Bossier City Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred Monday evening at a local hotel.

Police were called to the Rodeway Inn and Suites in the 3000 block of Hilton Drive at approximately 5:30 p.m. Monday shortly after an armed suspect entered the lobby, approached a clerk at the front desk and demanded money.

The suspect got undisclosed amount of cash and walked out of the hotel where he reportedly met up with a second suspect before they both ran from the scene.

The clerk was not injured.

The first suspect is described as a heavy set black man, 5 feet 10 inches to  6 feet tall and 240 to 250 pounds. He was wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans.

The second suspect is described as a slender black man, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall and was wearing blue jeans, a black and red jacket and white tennis shoes.

Persons who contact Crime Stoppers are reminded they may remain totally anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward.
