Bossier City, LA — Fire officials are investigating a blaze that damaged one home in Bossier City this afternoon.

At 4:15 p.m.,  crews were scrambled to a house on the 2100 block of Clovis Streets to reports of a structure fire. A neighbor told officials they saw smoke billowing from the home and grabbed a garden hose, then began spraying water through a side window to try and put the fire out.

When authorities did make it to the location minutes later, the kitchen was found smoldering. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
