Bossier City, La — A memorial ceremony in remembrance of the victims of the September 11, 2001 terror attacks will be held Tuesday morning in Bossier City.
The event will take place at 10 a.m. at the Liberty Garden inside the Bossier City Municipal Complex between the Bossier City Police and Fire Departments, 620 Benton Road. The public is invited to attend.
The event will feature remarks from Bossier City Mayor Lorenz Walker and Bossier Parish Sheriff Julian Whittington with the keynote address provided by State Representative Henry Burns. The Airline High School JROTC Color Guard will also take part.
The event is sponsored by Keep Bossier Beautiful and the City of Bossier City.
