$2200 guitar stolen from Shreveport music store

A guitar valued at $2,200.00 was stolen from a Shreveport music store on June 15, 2012.

It happened just after 11:30 a.m., at the Shreveport Music Company on the 1800 block of E. 2nd St.

Music store employees say that a man walked into the businesss, and began looking at a Taylor electric guitar.

The man wandered around the store for some time with the instrument and then suddenly ran out of the business with it.

Employees tried to find the thief but were unable to do so.

The thief is described as a black man, approximately 5'10'' - 6' tall, with a muscular build.

Officials say the man was last seen wearing a long sleeved light colored shirt, dark shorts, and tennis shoes.

The guitar is a Taylor solid-body electric guitar blue steel in color with a double cutaway and a white pickguard. The instrument is valued at $2,200.
