2 arrested after officials find $14,000 in marijuana
Shreveport, LA (KMSS) — Agents with the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Unit arrested two people and seized marijuana valued at $14,000 during a brief investigation, Monday afternoon, said Sheriff Steve Prator and Police Chief Willie Shaw.
Agents responded to citizens' complaints in reference to possible narcotic activity at 5601 Carl Terrace. During the investigation, two suspects were found in the yard of the residence. One of the suspects attempted to flee on a bicycle but was quickly apprehended. Agents seized 1,400 grams of marijuana (street value $14,000) and scales. Also discovered was $1,022 in cash.

Both were booked into the Shreveport City Jail for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
