Shreveport Police and Caddo Crime Stoppers have once again teamed up and placed two suspects behind bars.

On July 31 and August 9, 2013, a man and woman entered the Circle K store in the 3300 block of Bert Kouns, and once inside took approximately $800.00 worth of cigarettes then fled the store.

Video surveillance of the two suspects recorded the thefts and police investigators turned to Crime Stoppers to assist in identifying the suspects. Within a short period of time, numerous calls were received identifying the suspects as Donna Hall, 43, and Steven Smith, 40, and additional information reported the two were at the Best Value Inn on Monkhouse Drive, room 106.

Investigators with the SPD Property Crimes Bureau and patrol officers went to the location and quickly arrested Donna Hall and Steven Smith without incident. Both were booked in the city jail on (2) counts of Felony Theft by Shoplifting.
