1 injured in Shreveport shooting, gunman on the loose
Shreveport (KMSS) — Authorities are searching for the gunman in a weekend shooting in Shreveport.
According to the Shreveport Police Department, at 2:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 2700 block of Jerome Lane on reports of a shooting. When they arrived, police found Terrance K. Jackson, 26, with a minor gunshot wound to his foot.
Jackson told law enforcement a known man shot at him during argument between the two on Jerome Lane and then left the area before police made it there. Jackson was taken to a local hospital by emergency crews for treatment.
Investigators were notified and, based on information and evidence gathered during the early stages of their ongoing inquiry, believe they have identified the man who shot at Jackson and are working to obtain a warrant for his arrest.
