Shreveport, La — Authorities have arrested a local man for allegedly firing shots at a woman in south Shreveport Tuesday evening.
At 5:56 p.m., Shreveport officers responded to a home in the 9200 block of Davy Drive to a “shots fired” call. Upon arrival, the victim, Tobasha Bell, 28, told authorities her ex-boyfriend, Lovell Ellis, 32, of Shreveport, had just left the scene after firing multiple shots at her following an argument.
During the investigation, it was discovered that Bell had returned fire at Ellis.
After several leads, Ellis was located in the 600 block of Pickwick Place and taken into custody without incident. Investigators seized both weapons used in the shooting.
Following interviews with detectives, Clark was booked into the Shreveport City Jail on one count of illegal use of a weapon. No charges have been filed against Bell.
