Shreveport, La — Law enforcement officials has issued a warrant for the person who they believe robbed robbed a man at gunpoint in Shreveport's Cedar Grove neighborhood last summer.
At around 10:50 p.m. on August 12, 2011, officers were dispatched to a reported robbery at a home in the 200 block of East 70th Street. When they arrived, patrolmen contacted a man who told them two people attacked him as he was walking into his house. One of the men was armed with a handgun and hit the victim in the head with it as they both forced their way into his house. Once inside, the pair stole an undisclosed amount of cash before running from the scene.
Detectives were able to develop LaReginald Doyle, 28, as a suspect and today, they procured an arrest warrant charging Doyle, of Shreveport, with one count of armed robbery. His bond has been set at $100,000. Police are still working to identify the other bandit.
