Three arrested in connection with murder investigation
Bossier City police have arrested three people on criminal charges relating to the investigation into last Saturday’s shooting death of a Bossier City man.
Detectives with the Violent Crimes Unit arrested 35-year old Angela Denise Clarkson of Bossier City for obstruction of justice and 27-year old Jamorris Montreal Durham of Bossier City for accessory after the fact in connection with the investigation into the murder of 28-year old Cortez Brown. Both were taken into custody after detectives secured warrants for their arrest. Bond is set at $100,000 each.
Cortez Brown was shot in the 2100 block of Scott Street on the morning of March 3, 2012. Bossier City Fire Department personnel transported him to LSU Hospital in Shreveport but he later died at the hospital from his wound. The suspect in the shooting, 24-year old Bradley Houston of Bossier City, was arrested that same day and charged him with second degree murder.
