A Shreveport family is without a home after a fire swept through their Boss Avenue home early Monday morning, destroying the interior. Frances Wesley, who lives nearby, says she first saw smoke shortly after 11 on Sunday evening. She says the family was asleep when the fire began, but ran out after smelling smoke.
"They were sitting here and they didn't have shoes and one didn't have a shirt on and the littleblanket thing you can wrap up in, we got 'em things like that where they could...stay warm," says Wesley. A mother and her teenage sons were living in the home at the time. The cause is under investigation.
