An ordinance that would ban wearing pajamas in public in Caddo Parish has been tabled...at least for now.
The item was on the agenda at Monday's Caddo Commission work session, where Commissioner Michael Williams said he'd withdraw his request to have the issue go to public hearing. Williams said he will reintroduce the item in April, but in a "spirit of compromise" with fellow commissioners, agreed to focus on other matters first.
Williams said he believes he has the support of other commissioners to allow the ordinance to be open for public comment. "The issue is not denied. It's just being delayed for a minute," he said.
