Now the real Work Starts, say both candidates
“Our work is still ahead” said Shreveport Mayor Cedric Glover to his supporters Saturday evening at his campaign headquarter on Youree Dr, as he and City Councilman Bryan Wooley will be opponents in a runoff for mayor office on November 2.
Glover garnered 45 percent of the vote, while Wooley achieved 31 percent and State Rep. Roy Burrell was third with 13 per cent and a distant 4th was Caddo Commissioner David Cox with 7 percent.
“Tonight is a victory for us and we very pleased with out results, because it speaks volumes to our campaign”, says Wooley, who feels the next 4-weeks will be challenging ones.
