Season 2 of the X Factor is months away, but it's already bringing out big talent, especially here in the Ark-La-Tex. Fox 33 hosted the X Factor pass auditions Saturday, drawing dozens for a shot at the big title and a multi-million dollar recording contract.
Just last year, Chris Rene was one of them. Today he's touring the country promoting his new single "Young Homie," but he says he still remembers the audition process. "I was nervous at first, but then I threw all that aside and said look, this is it. This is what I gotta do to follow my dreams and there's nothing that I'm going to hold back," he said.
After 90 contestants took to the stage, Wilie Jones and Aelieah Dixon took home the top slots and will go on to audition for X Factor producers for a shot at the big prize. You can find the X Factor beginning in September right here on Fox 33.
