In 2011 the Bossier City Department made had the highest number of DWI arrests made by a municipal police department that participated in the grant program based on jurisdictional population.

Bossier City Police Corporal Jason Lowe was also honored for being the officer with the highest number of DWI arrests in 2011 under the same criteria.

The awards were presented during the annual LHSC DWI Enforcement Award Program Ceremony luncheon this week in Baton Rouge.
