SHREVEPORT, La. (KMSS) — Workers that were laid off from Libbey Glass in Shreveport received some more bad news.
The negotiations between Libbey and United Steel Workers which represents nearly 170 Libbey union workers resulted in workers not receiving severance pay.
The announcement comes after the company released 200 workers due to the company downsizing.
On the flip side, the company did offer to place the workers on the call list, which would make them eligible for temporary work if available.
