Mother Loses Two Children Due To Early Morning Apartment Fire

It Was A Early Morning Fire On Sunday At The Autumn Woods Apartments That Has Sent The Thomas Family Reeling. In Under 24 Hours Mom Wendy Thompson Had Lost Her Two-Year-Old Daughter Kayla And Her 7-Year-Old Son O'mara From Cardiac Arrest. Wendy's Family's Only Hope Now Is That Her 6-Year-Old Detravious, Will Not Have The Same Fate As His Brother And Sister.

Neighbors Say Wendy Awakened To The Smell Of Smoke And Did Everything Possible To Get Her Kids Out Of The Burning Apartment. But All Attempts Were Unsuccessful Until Fire Fighters Arrived.

We They Arrived On Scene Heavy Smoke, The Mother Had Already Exited The Structure, And She Even Broke Out A Couple Windows Trying To Get Her Children Out. Immediately Our Fire Fighters Went In, They Were Able To Rescue Three Children And They Were All Transported To The Hospital.

Officals Say At This Time The Family And Fire Investigators Are Unaware On How The Fire Actually Started.
