SHREVEPORT — Members of the community are pulling together to help victims of the earthquake.

Students from Centenary College, members of First United Methodist Church and other Shreveport community residents constructed a tent city on the college campus.

Students are calling it "The City of Hope."

There hoping to raise 1-million dollars.
