UNDATED - Authoriities say a large immigration bust took place in Livingston Parish.
18 construction workers were rounded up at the North Oaks Medical Center Wednesday and are currently in federal custody.
The U.S. Border Patrol says the men were in the country illegally from Mexico, El Salvador, Hondurus, and Guatemala.
Agents say what will happen to the men depends on each person's circumstance.
Some will be granted voluntary return to their home country, others will be scheduled to appear before an immigration judge.
Those responsible for hiring the workers could face serious charges.
