Walk MS Shreveport-Bossier City 2012

Walk MS: Shreveport-Bossier City, will bring hundreds of Louisiana residents to the rallying point of the MS movement, a community coming together to raise funds and awareness for the National MS Society: Louisiana. With a goal to raise $50,000 for MS research and programs, Walk MS: Shreveport-Bossier City will take place on Saturday, March 10 at the Louisiana Boardwalk and will feature a one-mile walk. Participants will enjoy family-friendly fun for people of all ages, including live entertainment and refreshments.

Visit walkMSlouisiana.org to register to walk, volunteer or donate. There is no cost to register, and online registration is currently open. Day-of-event registration begins at 7 a.m., followed by a 8 a.m. start time. There is no registration fee and no minimum pledge commitment; however, the average walker raises $100 to support research initiatives, programs and services of the National MS Society: Louisiana. Individuals interested in joining or creating a team can sign up online with co-workers, friends, family or neighbors.
