Where was your favorite celeb when the lights went out?

After the Super Bowl’s halftime show, one half of the stadium lost power, sending many stars into a Twitter frenzy. Among them:

Rosie O’Donnell: “If this were a movie – fireworks would go off – and the joker would show up – snarling at Gotham.”

Elizabeth Banks: “Oh um. Did not see that coming. Yikes. The power of Beyonce. She blew it out. Literally.”

Rob Lowe: “Are the Niners in charge of the lights?”

Joe Jonas: “WHATTTTTT!”

Aziz Ansari: “WHOA WHOA WHOA. Is this power outage a Fast 6 tie in?? IS THE ROCK ABOUT TO FLY A HELICOPTER THROUGH A TANK?!!”

Ryan Seacrest: “Anyone have a charger?”

Neil Patrick Harris: “All the lights are out!! It’s pandemonium!! Thank god we have out Beyonce finger lights!”

Kirstie Alley: “Think Beyonce show used too many volts?”

The cause of the blackout was still unknown as we went to press.

The zombie romantic comedy (zom-rom-com?) “Warm Bodies” was red hot this weekend as it made its debut at No. 1 in this weekend’s box office, taking in $20 million.

Last week’s No. 1, “Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters,” fell to second place this week with $9.2 million, and “Silver Linings Playbook” came in third with $8.1 million.

The Baltimore Ravens survived a late 49ers surge, a controversial non-call in the endzone and a 34-minute power outage to win Super Bowl XLVII by a score of 34-31. 

Two field goals by Ravens’ rookie kicker Justin Tucker in the fourth quarter were the only points the Ravens scored after the delay, as compared to the 23 points put on the board by the 49ers.

Joe Flacco was named the MVP of Super Bowl XLVII after racking up 287 yards passing and 3 TDs.

The Super Bowl 47 victory is the second in Ravens team history (the first coming in Super Bowl XXV against the New York Giants). This is San Franscisco’s first loss in a Super Bowl. It was their sixth trip to the big game.

Beyonce provided the halftime entertainment at Super Bowl XLVII tonight (Feb. 3) and there was no drama and no nonsense. It was all diva-fueled antics and it was a bit safe. But there was nothing wrong with that.

The show began with a life-sized, light up silhouette of Bey and then the queen Bey herself appeared. The show was highly visual, with CGI Beyonces all around. It was easy to lose track of the real thing (oops, that’s an old Coke tag, and Bey is a Pepsi pitchwoman) amongst her digital doppelgangers.

Bey opened by belting a verse from ‘Love on Top’ while looking sexified in a black leather dress, fishnets, black elbow-length gloves and black knee-high boots before launching into ‘Crazy in Love.’

She was Sasha Fierce from the first note to the last, exuding confidence as she sang surrounded by several dancers and a guitarist whose headstock shot sparks. That was an accident waiting to happen, but thankfully, there were no burns other than from the heat Bey threw off.

She blew the camera a kiss, launched into ‘End of Time’ while shaking her thang and showing off how ‘Bootylicious’ she really is. Yes, she was singing to tape, because she had to. There’s always a backing track when there are that many layers of vocals in this fast-paced of a perf. Don’t hate. You know she rocked it.

Elements of her Billboard Awards performance from 2011 were incorporated, as there were multiple CGI Beyonces flashing behind the real one for ‘Baby Boy.’ But it made you wonder which was the real Bey! It was an optical illusion that we loved.

Yes, Destiny’s Child reunited, with Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams exploding onto the stage from underneath in similar black leather ensembles for ‘Bootylicious.’ We told you that Williams was throwing up a smokescreen last week by saying it wasn’t happening. Pft! We never believed her and we know she was saying it to keep the element of surprise in tact.

Rowland and Williams offered the assist for Bey’s biggest smash, ‘Single Ladies,’ which was one of the highlights of the set. It was like the girls never parted ways. That’s how easily they slipped back into their onstage chemistry and camaraderie. Nope, they didn’t do ‘Nuclear,’ their “new” love song, either. Another omission? ‘Survivor.’

Bey rocked ‘Halo,’ with her fans swaying back and forth, before falling on her back. She was sweaty and out of breath, but that’s because she put 210 percent into the perf.

She was gracious as she ended the show, saying, “Thank you for this moment, God bless y’all.”

There were no nip slips. No big guest stars other than her girls. No cameo by hubby Jay-Z; he was probably babysitting Blue Ivy backstage, and saying “Look, Mommy!” as they watched on a hi-def TV! No middle fingers being flashed at the screen like last year. It was PG — because of the sex and skin — but it was highly entertaining because of the way Bey struts her stuff. The winks. The air kisses. The sassy way she perches her hands on her hips. It’s all in the details with Bey. If you didn’t love it, you weren’t paying attention.

Jennifer Hudson not only turned in a surprise performance at the Super Bowl tonight, but she fronted a choir of 26 children from Sandy Hook Elementary School, site of the one of our nation’s most tragic shootings.

Hudson and the children performed a very uplifting rendition of ‘America the Beautiful,’ leaving not a dry eye in the house. However the real show was just off to the side, where the ASL interpreter was performing with equal gusto (see GIF below).

Performing the national anthem at the Super Bowl or any sporting event is always a nerve-wracking task, since pop stars tend to flub the lines with regularity. Maybe it’s nerves. Maybe it’s the pressure and being on such a national stage. Who knows. But it happens… a lot. Alicia Keys performed ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ at Super Bowl XLVII tonight (Feb. 3), seated at a white piano in the middle of the field. We’re proud to report that it was flawless, both lyrically and melodically.

It was a slower rendition than we’re used to, and it had a slightly jazz vibe to it. But the ‘Girl on Fire’ singer nailed it from back to front.

She did add her own flourish at the end, adding an extra lyric, “Living in the land of the free and the home of the brave,” at the very end. It was the custom, Alicia Keys coda and her own patented version of ‘The Star-Spangled Banner.’ She didn’t take much in the way of liberties but she did give it a little kick. It wasn’t too far-fetched, so it pretty much worked.

Keys looked beautiful in a sleeveless maroon dress and with her hair slicked back and a thick, gold choker around her neck.

She turned in a lovely and respectable version, and did her country proud.

As the stars party-hopped this weekend in anticipation of the Super Bowl on Sunday, Justin Timberlake took the stage at the DIRECTV’s Super Saturday concert on Feb. 2 for his first full live show in three years.

During the set, he performed some oldies, but he also did three new songs from his upcoming album ‘The 20/20 Experience’ — ‘Little Pusher Lover Girl,’ ‘Bad Girl’ and ‘Suit & Tie.’ And for the latter, collaborator Jay-Z even joined him on stage.

JT looked a little prom-ish in a tux, but regardless, he still brought the moves during the hour and a half show (especially when Timbaland showed up for ‘SexyBack’), and not only danced but played the keyboard, piano and guitar at various times. Meanwhile, Justin’s back-up band, the Tennessee Kids, paid homage to his Memphis roots.

Clearly, his extended musical hiatus has left him none the worse for wear. Watch concert footage of the three new songs below.

The Super Bowl may not take place until later today, Feb. 3, but that doesn’t mean the stars didn’t come out to shine a couple days early.

From parties hosted by Playboy and Rolling Stone to Justin Timberlake giving his first live show in three years at a DIRECTV shindig, celebs like Snoop Lion (nee Dogg), Neil Patrick Harris and Sofia Vergara got together this weekend to fete the big game — many showing up at more than one event.

We’ll be adding to this round-up with photos as we find them. And don’t be too jealous. Yeah, they may be rich and famous, but at least you don’t have to get dressed up to stuff your face full of seven-layer dip today.

It’s the big day, February 3! Super Bowl 47 starts soon. All across Shreveport-Bossier, the crowds are gathering, the beer is flowing and the dip is ready. But maybe in all that pre-game haste, you forgot exactly what time the big game starts.

Here’s a run-down of what time Super Bowl 47 starts, who the halftime show features and more.

Super Bowl 47, hosted at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, La., kicks off at 6:30 p.m. EST on CBS. So get those butts on sofas — or bar stools — before then. The Baltimore Ravens will square off against the San Francisco 49ers.

Before kickoff, Alicia Keys will sing the National Anthem, while students from Newtown, Connecticut’s Sandy Hook Elementary will perform what will no doubt be a stirring rendition of “America the Beautiful” with Jennifer Hudson.

The halftime show will feature Beyonce – hopefully in a non-lip-syncing capacity. Rumor has it that Jay-Z and Destiny’s Child may also get involved.

The one thing we can’t tell you (yet, anyway) is who won. But if you’re the type who believes animals have the ability to predict a winner, here’s a video of a dog predicting the winning team.

Strap yourselves in Beliebers and Jelena devotees. This roller coaster romance ride is getting bumpier by the day. Fresh off rumors that Justin Bieber has been flirting with honies and that Selena Gomez purged her life of the mementos and gifts she accumulated during their two-year relationship, it seems that the world’s most famous teen pop couple may be back together.

Whoa. Who? What? When? Where? Why?

Sel has maintained a p-p-p-p-p-poker face — cue the Lady Gaga song — during the split, leaning on her girlfriends (like Taylor Swift) and focusing on the tasks at hand (like her movie ‘Spring Breakers‘ or her new album. Meanwhile, Biebs admitted he is not in the happiest place, having penned two achingly painful and raw songs — especially ‘Nothing Like Us‘ — believed to be about the split. It seemed like they had moved on in polar opposite ways.

But Gomez was seen being escorted from The Biebs’ crib on Saturday (Feb. 2) morning with one of the singer’s bodyguards, according to E!.

It was morning, so did Sel spend the night, wrapped in the Biebs’ arms? Perhaps. Maybe she finally listened to ‘Nothing Like Us’ and it melted the chill off her heart? Maybe she was retrieving her stuff from happier times? Maybe they are trying to work it out? Maybe they are attempting to be civil and trying to be friends? Maybe they can’t deny the magnetic pull and attraction?

We don’t know. We just know she was there, which could mean that they are getting back together or are back together.

Remember, after initial rumors of their split, she was seen with holding hands with JB post-AMAs and then they had their doomed trip to Mexico right before New Year’s. So even though split rumors reared their heads in November, things lingered. Perhaps they still are.

We will say this. The Biebs has been a bit of a loose cannon since the split. Pot photos. Repeated Ferrari problems. Without Gomez’s seemingly calming influence, he’s been a bit of a hellraiser. They say “mo money, mo problems.” We say, “No Sel, mo problems.”

Let’s hope these two are pulling out the relationship Band-Aids and patching this thing up. We all know how Mama Biebs feels about Sel. Maybe she can jump in and try and save this romance.
