Woman missing for over a month; authorities continue search

Wednesday, February 9, 2011 - 10:23am

With the assistance of Lamar Outdoor Advertising, Crime Stoppers of Shreveport/Caddo Parish will feature a missing person who has not been seen for almost a month.

Tracy Winslow has been missing since Sunday, January 23, and her ex-boyfriend Eddie Lee Jackson has been arrested in connection with her disappearance. Tracy was last heard from when she talked with a friend by phone around midnight Sunday night. A few hours later, her car was found burned in north Shreveport. Jackson has been placed at the scene of her disappearance and the location of the burned vehicle.

To assist Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Investigators, Crime Stoppers sought the assistance of its media partner Lamar Advertising to feature Tracy on selected electronic billboards throughout the city. Without hesitation, Mr. Joe Kane and Alan Hampton of Lamar diligently made the artwork and production of this endeavor come together within days and Tracy’s picture will be out to the public with the hope of generating information as to where she may be.

Anyone having any information on the disappearance of Tracy or the activities of Eddie Jackson prior to Tracy's disappearance is encouraged to call Caddo Sheriff's Detectives at 675-2170 or Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373, www.lockemup.org
