Bossier City police arrested a woman Saturday night after she cut her live-in boyfriend in the neck with a kitchen knife during an argument. 24-year-old Tekara P. Davis of Bossier City was arrested and booked into the Bossier City Jail on charges of aggravated battery.

Police learned of the incident after personnel at LSU Hospital in Shreveport called to report the victim had driven himself to the emergency room with a non-life threatening wound to the side of his neck. Upon interviewing the man, officers found out the incident happened at the Parkland Villa Apartments in the 3100 block of Shed Road where the victim and suspect lived together. A short time later, officers went to the apartment and took Davis into custody.

Davis was also booked on two counts of failure to appear in connection with two unrelated traffic violations.
