Police received a call from a witness who reported seeing three people taking items from the rail yard and then flee the area in a pickup truck. Patrol officers located a truck fitting the description of the suspect vehicle not far from the rail yard on East Texas Street and Bass Pro Drive and initiated a traffic stop. All three suspects were taken into custody and police recovered several pieces of metal components and along with various pieces of scrap metal all valued at approximately $5000 from the bed of the pickup.

All three suspects were booked into the Bossier City Jail. Griffin was also booked with disturbing the peace/drunk due to his intoxicated state.
