Police investigators believe they have identified the man who shot and killed a woman last night in west Shreveport.
Authorities have issued an arrest warrant for 24-year old Cordero Parsee, charging him with one count of second degree homicide in connection with the overnight shooting death of 25-year old Brittny Polk. Detectives believe Parsee shot Polk during the course of some type of domestic dispute. Parsee should be considered armed and dangerous.
At around 9:49 p.m. Wednesday Shreveport officers were called to a house in the 7500 block of Wyngate Boulevard. Dispatchers received a call from an unknown subject saying someone had been shot there. When officers arrived on scene, they talked to a man outside of the house who told them a woman had been shot in the house. Police saw what they believed to be blood stains on the carport door and forced their way into the residence. Once inside, officers found Polk in a bedroom suffering from what appeared to be at least one gunshot wound to the upper body. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Anyone with any information regarding the whereabouts of Cordero Parsee is urged to call Shreveport Police detectives at 318-673-6955 or Shreveport-Caddo Parish Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373.
