Walmart parking dispute leads to shots fired

Shreveport Detectives are looking for one person in connection with a weekend shooting.

It happened Sunday at around 11:30 a.m. in the 1100 block of Shreveport-Barksdale Highway.

Officers were called to the Wal-Mart Super Center  to a shots fired call. When police arrived, they victim, Rodney Alexander of Shreveport, told officers he was trying to back into a parking spot when a car tried to pass around him.

In the attempt to pass, the car narrowly missed Alexander's vehicle, sparking an exchange of words between Alexander and a female passenger in the car. During the argument, the woman got out of the car with a gun and fired several rounds into Alexander's vehicle. The car then left the scene heading north toward Shreveport-Barksdale Highway. No licence plate information is available at this time.

No one was injured during the shooting.

Detectives are currently obtaining surveillance footage of the incident.

The shooter is described as a black female, weighing roughly 150-160 pounds, 5'4"- 5'6" tall, dressed in all black clothing with a short hair style.
