Waco police officials are investigating a robbery that may have connections to similar crimes.
At 12:20 a.m. officers responded to an aggravated robbery that occurred in the 500 Block of Daughtry.
A 21-year old victim told police that someone knocked on his door, and when he opened it, he was immediately attacked by two black males with guns who were demanding money. The victim stated the robbers tied him up and rummaged through the house looking for something. Police believe money and possible other items were taken.
After the gunmen left, the victim was able to free himself and contacted a friend and then notified police. The victim was taken to the hospital for medical treatment due to his injuries.
This incident is similar to a robbery that happened this morning on S. University Parks drive, however, it is too early in the investigation to say if they are related or the same suspects.
