Caddo sheriff’s detectives need the public’s help to locate two men wanted for a home invasion on November 11.
Arrest warrants have been obtained for Christopher Scott Mobley, 37, of the 7800 block of Jewella in Shreveport, and John Mitchell, 42, of Auxvasse, Missouri. Bond for each has been set at $500,000.
Witnesses said that around midnight Mobley and Mitchell kicked in the front door to the victim’s home in the 9600 block of Rosalie Loop in Keithville and entered the house with guns. They were looking for Mitchell’s wife, who was staying at the house with friends after domestic problems with her husband. A 4-year-old child was also inside the home.
Mobley and Mitchell threatened the residents with guns and tried to get Mitchell’s wife to leave with them. When they kicked open the door and entered with weapons, one of the people armed himself with a crossbow, then accidentally shot the homeowner in the neck, whom he mistook for one of the suspects. No charges have been filed in connection with that incident. Mobley and Mitchell fled the scene.
Anyone with information regarding the location of Mobley or Mitchell is asked to contact Caddo Sheriff’s Detectives Andy Scoggins or Jason Morgan at 675-2170 or Crime Stoppers at 673-7373.
