Bossier Sheriff Larry Deen says two Plain Dealing men were arrested Thursday afternoon for possession of marijuana.
David Francis Wientjes, 57, was contacted by Bossier Sheriff’s investigators at a deer camp in the 100 block of Chalybeate Springs Road.
He was sleeping in a converted school bus, along with James Edwin Smith, 62.
Wientjes had an active warrant for his arrest and was in possession of a container of marijuana, which was found during a search of the school bus.
Wientjes admitted marijuana was in the container and that the drug was his.
Smith was in possession of a clear, plastic baggie containing marijuana.
He was asked if anything was in the residence that needed to be disclosed, and he said there was marijuana in a drawer.
Wientjes and Smith were transported to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility and booked.
Their bonds are set at $500 each.
