BATON ROUGE, LA  — Two high school students were taken to a local hospital for treatment today after they ate cupcakes that were reportedly laced with marijuana.

Emergency responders were called to McKinley High School just before 1:00 p.m. That’s because a male and female student were reportedly suffering side effects from marijuana-spiked snacks.

The students were transported to a local hospital for treatment. We’re told both are now in stable condition.

Sources also tell NBC33 News, a KMSS sister station, that a third student has been implicated in the ordeal as the supplier of the marijuana.

NBC33 is tracking this story and will have more details when they become available.
