A Shreveport man is behind bars Wednesday morning accused of shooting at another man in the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. neighborhood Tuesday night.

At around 7:40 p.m. Shreveport officers were sent to the 2900 block of Round Grove Lane in reference to a shots fired call. Upon arrival, police discovered there has apparently been an ongoing dispute between several young men, and one involved, identified as 20-year old Arthur Anderson, allegedly armed himself with a gun and fired at the others. No one was injured.

Authorities found Anderson a short time later in the 1900 block of Linear Street and took him into custody.

Arthur Anderson was booked into the Shreveport City Jail on one count of illegal use of a weapon. He also had a domestic abuse battery warrant outstanding for his arrest, as well as two traffic warrants.
