Shreveport police need your help finding robber

Shreveport Police need your help in identifying and apprehending a suspect who robbed a convenience store last night.

At approximately 9:12 p.m. on September 6, 2010, Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to a reported armed robbery at the Chevron in the 2400 block of Lakeshore Drive. A witness told investigators that a male suspect wearing dark colored pants, shirt, and shoes with a ski mask covering his face and a bandana around his neck entered the store armed with a black revolver and demanded money from the clerks there. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled the business on foot. No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately five feet eight inches tall weighing about 160 pounds. Witnesses report the suspect’s shoes had white stars on them.
