Bossier Sheriff Larry Deen says a Shreveport man was arrested Wednesday morning on two counts of aggravated assault.

Keayre Letroy Moore, 24, of the 700 block of Melrose Street, was taken into custody after he got into an argument with several people on Southgate Drive. Bossier Sheriff’s deputies say, according to witnesses, Moore went into the trunk of the vehicle he was driving and removed a black handgun. Witnesses say, at that point, Moore said, “What are you going to do now?”

Moore then left the scene, but returned one hour later and was stopped by Bossier Sheriff’s deputies. He was taken into custody and his vehicle was searched, but no weapon was found and Moore denied having a gun. However, witnesses insisted Moore had a black gun in his possession at the time of the verbal altercation.

Moore was transported to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility and booked. His bond was set at $2,000.
