UPDATE: Shreveport Police tell Fox 33, it does appear the couple's death is a murder-suicide. They believe 60-year old Willie Guiden shot his wife, 60-year old Jane Guiden, then turned the gun on himself. They are still investigating.
UPDATE: Couple found dead in Southern Hills neighborhood is identified as the Guiden family. A neighbor tells Fox 33, Willie and Jane Guiden lived in the neighborhood on the 800 block of Elm Dale Street for almost 30 years.
Willie Guiden is a well-known pastor at the Unity Prayer Ministries church at 7923 Line Avenue. Guiden also operated a daycare center, the Unity DayCare.
Details are still coming in. Officials have not confirmed if this was a murder-suicide. A gun was found in the home, and it appears there was a struggle, but there's no evidence of forced entry.
SHREVEPORT, LA. - Dr. Todd Thoma, Caddo Parrish Coroner, confirmed the death of a middle aged couple found in home on Elmdale street.
He says the man had one gunshot would in his head. The woman also had a gunshot wound, but it has not been disclosed where it is located.
A neighbor, Art Vanwinterswyk, says that the couple had not ben seen for two days, but was last seen in good spirits.

A married couple has been found dead in their Shreveport home. Details are limited at this time.
Police were called to a home in the 800 block of Elmdale. The son of the couple who live there could not make contact with his parents and went to the home to check on them. The couple's vehicle was in the driveway but the son called police when there was no response.
Police entered the home and found the couple dead. Homicide detectives have been called to the scene.
